Welcome to Valley Hockey Club
Home of the Royals since 1921. Based at Shaw Park, Wavell Heights, Valley Hockey Club is one of Australia's oldest and most successful hockey clubs — around 700 players pull on the blue and white every season, across men's, women's, junior boys', girls' and masters teams. 2026 Registrations Now Open

Registering to play at Valley is a simple two-step process — every player completes both steps.

Step 1 — Register with Hockey Australia & Hockey Queensland

All players in Australia must first register on the national player database:

  1. Go to the Hockey Australia registration page   https://www.revolutionise.com.au/valleyhockey/registration
  2. Click Register (new players) or Renew (returning players)
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your details and payment — you'll see a confirmation message when it's done


Step 2 — Register with Valley Hockey Club

  1. Click the green Register Now button [keep existing link]
  2. Log in with your email and password (new members: follow the prompts to create a login)
  3. Complete your Player Profile, Primary Contact and Emergency Contact details
  4. Proceed to the Invoice page to pay

Registering Valley as your secondary club?

Register and pay with your primary club first. Then follow the Hockey Australia link above, select Renew (not Register), and choose secondary club as your registration option.

New players — please note

New Junior and Masters players must provide proof of age — email it to secretary@valleyhockey.com.au. Players transferring from another club need a release from their previous club before registering.Register Now

Majestri Support

Welcome to Valley Hockey Club. The Valley Hockey Club is situated around the northern inner city suburbs of Kalinga, Clayfield, Kedron and Wavell Heights in Brisbane, Australia.

Started in 1921, the club seeks to ensure all players, no matter what level of ability, are able to enjoy the sport of Hockey. The club caters for Masters (over 35 years old), Senior Turf, Senior Grass, Junior Turf (13 to 18 years), Junior Grass (7 to 17 years and under).
